''Guter Rat'' (meaning ''Good Advice'' in English) is a German language monthly business and consumer magazine published first in the East Germany. The magazine is one of three East German magazines, namely ''Eulenspiegel'' and ''das Magazin'', which have survived German reunification.〔 ==History and profile== ''Guter Rat'' was first published in the German Democratic Republic (GDR). The first issue appeared in Leipzig in November 1945.
